I Might Even Do It For Free

I recently read that if you wouldn't do something for free, you shouldn't do it for money. My career hasn't always aligned so harmoniously with my interests. But lately I've enjoyed pitching and writing stories on topics I wanted to learn about anyway (and earning a couple bucks in the process). Here are two recent examples:

  • How to Make Your Own Snack Bars -- These easy recipes are cheaper, healthier, and yummier than you'll find in the store.
  • What to Recycle and How --  Think you know what goes in your recycling bin? My research for this story taught me that I could be doing better.
